Does anything have to be adjusted on a 570 to use plastic twine in it.I see nothing in the manual that has to be adjusted.I was able to have a landscaped to buy all my straw after harvest but he wants it all with plastic.

Basically... you need to keep the twine knives good and sharp. Beyond that... the only adjustments you might need to make would be to bring the tension values into line for the holder and twine tension as the poly twine may be a bit more slippery so the holder and twine tension may need slight increases from where they are now. Beyond that it should have all twine type bill hooks on that baler. On some older balers they had sisal only hooks that would not close tightly enough to grip the poly twine and they would need the fingers ground a bit or replaced with all twine hooks. Chances are, if your 570 is set correctly it will switch seamlessly from sisal to poly. I prefer to use 7200 poly myself. If it's worn sloppy... then poly twine will exacerbate any problems you have.
