Sunflower G12 disk how much horsepower?

We recently bought a Sunflower disk harrow(model G12) at an auction. Since its to wet yet to test, we have clay that don't dry fast, I thought I'd ask. Plan on pulling with a Farmall 706. When looking at it on the yard; we aren't sure if the "horse" has enough horse, or at least not enough to pull deep enough to do anything. So how much horsepower roughly does it need to pull?

Not really a matter of HP, it's whether there is enough traction. A lot of variables, does tractor have fluid ,extra wheel weights, duals. If disc is an offset would handle around a 10'. If tandem, maybe 12 to 13'. Also the condition of disc blades, new to very good or old and a lot of wear on them and how deep you're planning on disking the ground. Several factors involved on whether you have enough tractor.

Thanks for that info. Here's some more of what I have

Its a offset type ,12ft, 24"(rough measure) disk. Blades and bearings appear to be in good shape. It looked smaller at the auction next to the other equipment there(30+ ft tillage equip. on three sides), other wise we won't of looked at it. Tractor is single wheeled with fluid, some weight on front. Tires are getting worn down. I'd like to set it deep as possible to tear as much deeper roots up as possible. We have a 3-14 semi-mount plow that if set deep this tractor just pulls it though the clay with out snubbing it out in hard spots.

At 10hp per foot, tractor(rated around 65 on hitch) would pull half of it. If it comes to that, we'll pull the wing off(three pins) and just use the main base. Thanks
