What make/model plow is this?

Why Worry

Member
Howdy all,

I found an old plow and I could use it in our big garden. I'd like to strip it down and paint it but can't begin to guess the manufacturer and model. Also, there does not appear to be a stamp or data plate anywhere on the plow.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Most likely a Ford. You can paint it red and call it a Ford or pass it off as an IH plow. But it would greatly increase it's value if you paint it green and just say it's a John Deere......

Even though the wear parts are still available You already have an extra bottom to use should you need it and when you are ready to sell it you can put the third bottom back on or sell it as a 2 bottom. I just sent the owners manual to Worry. if you need one hit my email and I'll send it along.

just got mine back together and painted Ford blue as it was when new. If you convert to 2 bottoms pull out the middle bottom and replace it with the one with tail wheel. Agri Supply has the shares, shins & plow bolts. You got Coulters, you lucky dog!

Consensus seems to say Ford, but we used to have a Massey Ferguson that looked like that. And that one has remnants of red paint. Ours had a serial tag somewhere on it.
