How do I know what I have?

I inherited a Harry Ferguson tractor. My dad said it was a 1958 but that is all I know. How do I find the make, and model and verify the year. Does anyone know what this maybe worth?

Looking closely at your tag, I read the number and looked in my book, and see nothing close to it. Then, looking at the picture, that is not the original serial tag on that tractor- maybe. The original rivets are gone and that tag was put on with 2 pop rivets, which may mean the cowl isn't original, or the tag was put on later by someone. Keep us poste on what you find.....

I don't know anything about Ferguson tractors, but I Googled Continental Engines and Z134, and found out that the Z134 was used in a bunch of different Fergusons and Massey Fergusons. Maybe others, too.

I think that you are going to have to find some more numbers stamped into the different parts of the tractor. That tag isn't going to identify your specific tractor.

The Z134 engine was used first in the TO 35 tractors The tag is the engine tag riveted on where the tractor serial tag belongs If it is the tag for the tractor It is likely a 55-56 Ferguson not a Massey Ferguson and repainted from gray or crème to red
