McCormick Deering Grain Drill

Saw this at an upcoming consignment sale. What model of drill is this? About what would it be worth?
My interest is this drill was purchasd new by my Great Grandpa who sold it to my Grandpa. My Grandpa traded it in 1990 for a new Case IH drill.

To a scrapper,or most folks,it's worth scrap iron. But to you it's grandpa's. That would make it priceless.So dont play the "what's it worth" game.....Just buy it! It wont bring much. Bet it works,too. Just as good as a brand new one

"M" grain drill?

16M since it's 16 openers. If fertilizer it would be 16MF

What part of the country do you live in. If there are Amish at the sale it could go for 600 maybe more , maybe less. Auction price ranges are an amazing spread. Just depends on 2 people wanting a certain item.

Well I was able to get Grandpa's old drill today. Picked her up for $60.00. Not too shabby and bringing it back in the family
