I wasn't aware that New Idea made toolbars like this for the Uni until you posted the picture a week or so ago. You would think that following the mark with a cab-forward, rear-steer vehicle would be a lot more difficult than it is with a tractor. And the offset cab would make things even more strange with one long marker and one short.

A local canning factory used to use those to plant sweet corn around here back in the day.

My neighbors used to have one of these outfits. You can't imagine the "bobbles" in the row you can get with one of these. The straight rows in the picture are definitely not the norm. Mike

Should not be any more problem than following a row of corn with a corn head.

If he had bobbles with the planter attachment then he would have had them in the rows harvesting corn as well, just not as noticible if the head was able to pull in the stals if they did not make him plug up.
