That is one of the original horse drawn ones. The one I have is newer but not in near as nice a shape as that one. Mine has a pto shaft and the adjustment in the front although not complete looks to make it dig deeper or shallower. there is what looks like a trip mechanism on the side that may or may not lower and raise the whole thing. I'll try to get photos later.

Okay I guess mine is not a "Hoover" as it was after John Deere bought them out. I cannot figure out how it lifts out of the ground as yet. On the left side, it looks like a rope pull lift but I haven't figured out just how it works. Here is a pic. Any ideas? Thanks
