Massey ferguson model 62 plow

plow share is worn out and no one seems to have a 18 inch share. am I going to need to convert to a 16 inch and change the moldboard to get back on the job? the 18 inch part # 660553m91 is what I am looking for first.
 
Never knew they made an 18". 12, 14 & 16" all I ever heard of. How did you measure to come up with an 18" share, you do not measure the length of share but between beams to the same spot on each beam.

The picture looks the same, except I have a single bottom. the measurement was made from the edge of the land slide to the cutting edge of the share. This is what I have always bought from the mid 60s until now. my problem is I did not buy several when I used it more. I live in western Washington and have always scraped a lot of rocks.
 
I think what you have is a 16" plow with a full cut share, if you just buy for a 16" bottom I think it will be what you need.
 
According to the MF # 62 parts book and advertising literure I have. They made 12,14,and 16 inch bottoms, no 18.

2 furrow a 10 inch,12,14,and 16
3 furrow a 10 inch,12,and 14
I am not sure why there seems to be no record that agree,but thanks for the feedbacks.

There are records that agree. Go to agcopartsbook.com and look at the parts book for the #62 plow. It shows the 16" and 18". If it was me and you have the old type share, I would change the frog and moldboard and use the more common throw away shares.
