Vicon Tedders - Anything to Fear?

From time to time I see a Vicon (Fanex?) tedder come up for
sale.

Anything to fear from these tedders, i.e. spare parts
availability, lousy designs/construction, etc?

Thanks!
Bill

i have a four star vicon rs510t. good machine. no online parts diagrams but company will send you a pdf. dealer support is so so.

Isn't vicon owned by Kubota now? The orange hay equipment up here (md) seems a little pricey. I guess it's like green paint costs more.

I have the cheapest tedder probably money can buy. Not that much to a tedder. Have had it for over 10 years and nar a part failure.

My experience is that just because you see the width as it is, don't expect to tedd with the whole width. However the tedding process can scatter product well beyond the width of the machine even though 2/3 the width is all that is doing the work. BTDT
