Krause disk

Back in the 1960's and 70's, Krause disk were extremely popular here in Northeast Louisiana. Regardless of what brand of tractor they had, everyone seemed to have at least one 14' Krause disk. The local Massey Ferguson dealer(closed down years ago) handled the Krause line. Except for one or two sitting in the weeds you no longer see them around here anymore. However I do still see them advertised in some of the farm magazines so apparently they are still in business.

I think they are out of the farm part of business and into recycling plants, someone else post back if that is wrong

Some of the guys around central indiana had the big folding wing ones and i saw a 8-10' one 20+ years ago .

I have a 24' folding disk that I like a lot. Pulls nice, does a nice job. Seems like every auction hereabouts has a Krause in it. Can't say if they are still around.

Yes they are alive and well in Hutchinson, Ks. They just put up a new addition last fall. Their goal was to run almost 24-7. Name was changed to Krause-Kuhn over 2 years ago?

Dads first wheel disk was a 10 ft. Krause. Bought it in the late 50's or early 60's.

Sure you have, Ever seen a MM disc? JD copied it and so did Bush Hog. They are very good disc. I have a 13 or 14 foot MM disc and is one of the best disc I've ever owned. Bandit

Our buddy down on the Paluse pulls a HUGE one with a tracked JD... Must be around 40 foot or so? I know that when it folds up completely, it still takes up two lanes!! It is nearly brand new, however they do have other Karuse things... Pretty popular brand. Bryce

hat one reminds me of a BW.

My JD BW looks like a copy of the MM / Krause disk. Just some slight changes, But it works good. I also have a 10' bush hog disk that the frame is about the same just a different toung. Bandit
