Oliver 4240 Plow Questions

I acquired this plow with the purchase of a 660 Ford. After cleaning the tag, I found that it is an Oliver 4240. After searching online for a manual it seems that all Oliver 4240 plows were trailer plows instead of 3 point hitch plows. Is this true? It's obvious that some modifications have been made as evidenced by the beams that have been cut on the front of the plow. However, this doesn't seem like a homemade hack job. Other than the cut beams, the plow seems to look factory made. I'm just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this and tell me what I have exactly.

Thanks for your help.

Like you said, the 4240 plow was a pull type.

That plow didn't leave the factory like it's shown. That plow is made up of Oliver parts from 3-point and pull type models.
