more plows and I don't know why

Well bought me a couple more sets of plows the other day that puts me up to 5! Don't know why but I buy them when it's either me getting them or the scrap man! I have sold quit a few of the plows I gathered up! I'm 27 and I just keep thinking someday when I'm old the good stuff from the 60 and 70s and 80s wont be around anymore!

Don't know how many I have but I have to many of them. I have an Oliver Plow 2 JD plows. A plow made to fit a Farmall A. Also a disk plow with the 2 point fast hitch set up. A Ferguson 2 bottom and a DB plow for the David Bailey garden tractor and one or 2 others around the place

Neighbor has around 20 or more in the barn up the road. He has everything three point, semi-mount, trailer. From 1 to 6 or more bottom. Many brands, IH,JD, Oliver.....He just collects to collect.

It appears to me, a non-plow guy, that plows are either excess property any more or are publicly traded as though a part of the stock market. There are 19 plows currently listed on the first page of this site's photo ads. It seems that on any one day there are at least a half dozen plows listed in the photo ads. Must be a great source to pick from for those of you that value plows.

Casecollector,

Do you have an extra Case 3 disc plow that is two directions? Would love to find one of those!

Congrats on the plows!! I will be 27 in a couple months and would guess I have 40 plows laying around. At one time had over 75. Was preparing to move houses so I let inventory drop some. Bought the first one when I was 13 to pull with my Farmall H and then found a nicer one cheap sold first made money and realized I could buy and sell for profit so I drug dad to every auction around and buying and selling equipment bought the tractors, parts, and equipment I wanted for my collection. Good luck, keep in mind rusty equipment is an eye sore to the uninfected people out there and some spouses....luckily my fiancé is immune and likes to play with my toys too.

Not sure where your located, Im in OH. Have a nice plow for an H but don't have the levers. Guy sold the tractor with cultivator mounted and forgot about the plow in the barn so it is just the beam tail wheel etc. Let me know if interested. Thanks Matt
