Looks a lot like a JD 16, or 16A. Closer look, looks a little small. Would crawl out in the snow and photo my JD, but it's way back in the fence row. I got it to harvest hay, removed the trough and auger from rear, and it worked after a fashion. Dropped the hay right out behind, dried it and raked it with a conventional bar rake and baled with square baler. It would cut stuff I couldn't do with a sickle bar. Not real clean cut but... Got a DRUM mower, and not looking back.
