My IH 574 tractor came with a Farmhand model F233
loader. I was wondering if a person can still get
parts for this type of loader, or do I have to scour
the salvage yards? Definitely want to find a larger
bucket as the current one doesn't go past the front
tires on tractor.

Local mfg makes buckets in various widths, then makes brackets that work with your loader and they weld them on. I think the last bucket we bought was around $4-500.

There is a place in south Dakota that builds buckets grapple forks bale spears and rock buckets called MDS manufacturing. I got one of their bale spears and rock buckets and they are very well built I would think they could or do build a bucket to fit your loader.

You might look into a local shop that can widen your bucket. Lot of new material buckets will run $700-1000.

Last August I picked up a bale grabber from a Mennonite manufacturer in Curtiss Wi. His lot was full of buckets, grabbers and any other attachment you can think of. Very reasonable and my son lives right down the road from him. I went to Wi to see my son, took a garden tractor to my grandson, picked up truck and tractor tires from Miller tire in Ohio. By the time we got there the truck was full. We went to a Schindler Auction and between that and the bale grabber, the truck was full on the way back.

I needed a larger bucket for moving snow on my Kubota. I found a new bucket that been sitting in the weeds out back at a dealer for 500 bucks. It never been used. The paint was faded was all. I took it home a cut the brackets off of it. I made a pattern off the bucket I had. I got a tool maker friend who is in the process of making brackets for it to weld back on. I figure I'll have about 600 in it when done. Its a 72 inch and the dealer wanted almost a grand for a new one made to fit my loader.

There is a place in North Carolina that will custom make a bucket for you, Every Thing Attachments. They wanted 875 to make one up for me including shipping. I got a set of pallet forks for my loader a while back from them.
