Massey plow

Friend of mine has a Massey Harris #28 3-14"
trailer plow on rubber he is wanting to sell.
He says it has Model 44 moldboards (I'm a Red
Power man and I don't know what those numbers
mean). I think it is in good shape as he has
used it at our plow day. Central WI.

In a week he is thinking Craig's list.
I don't have any pics. Massey guys have any
idea what it's worth?

I have no idea what it is worth. Had a 28 years ago in 3-12" model, worked good unless ground was hard then front bottom would not go in. What I need to say is that it was avaible with either clutch lift or cylinder lift and be sure he specifies the type of lift in the add. Will mean way more than a moldboard number that no one knows what they mean. I wonder if by moldboard number he means it has been converted to throw away type shares instead of the blacksmith sharpen type they came with. Or he could mean a slat moldboard. Those things will all affect price.
