Gravity Wagon

Hey does anyone know how rare Little Giant gravity wagons are? I used to have one and sold it last year, and i cant find many around.

There used to be lots around here. A local mill sold them. Dad told about putting them together. No one uses them anymore. So they have been relegated to the scrap heap.

I don't know where you live but around me you can pick one up via auction at least a few times a year. They were pretty widely sold in the late 1950's and 1960's. There were two at a sale over at Penn Yan a couple of weeks ago. I am looking for a fertilizer wagon but want something that is solid if not perfect so I can freshen up the paint. I do remember Little Giant wagons following the neighbor's corn picker back in the 1960's. JD 60 tractor and NI mounted picker.

I have three and can probably find another 10 within a 10 mile radius. Lots of them still around in eastern Pennsylvania, along with their elevators, as Hamilton Equipment in Ephrata, PA used to distribute them in the northeast.

A couple of the area John Deere dealers carried them back in the day. It is very typical to see a LG box on an older JD gear around here.
