I am looking at different chisel plows. One is an IH. there is a rod that lifts it from the tube at the top of the frame to the arm for the wheels. It just looks like it would be a problem with bending during lifting or transporting from field to field.
Does any body know of a problem with them?
We have one without discs on the front. Think we would like one with discs for wheat stubble or on cornstalks.
The one we have is a 1600 Deere. It has been a good machine just getting old and seems like it wads and gobs in sod/wheat stubble and leaves a lot on top in corn stalks to plug up things in the spring.
