Disc Mowers

I am looking at disc mowers and was wondering about the Vermeer quick clip, for those that have them are they okay, or will the clip fly off if hit a ant hole or anything like that? Looks like something I would like!

The Vermeer quick clip blades stay on very well if one uses the new clips that are furnished with new blades.

I'll echo TxJim's comments about using the new clips. Also when I flipped the blades I would flip the clip as well. I used a Vermeer with the clips for 11 years and never had one come off. My part of Texas has a bounty crop of fire ant mounds and gopher mounds. I run a custom baling business so the mower got a lot of use.

Have owned one for five years with same clips. I just turn clip over each time I flip blade over or put new ones on. No problems yet.
