I need to replace the discs on my old plow. I can find the discs with the correct concavity but not the OEM with the bolt holes in place. There held in place by 4 plow bolts.

How do you make square countersunk holes?

First you have to drill ine round part of the hole, then drill the countersunk part, then heat red hot and drive a square item in till the square part is the size you want (we used a square tapered spike tooth harrow tooth for this) Then you will have to gring smooth the area you pushed out with the square punch. A good maching shop could probably punch out the square part but the countersunk part I do not know about. WE used to do that on blacksmith sharpen type plow shares that we could get that know body knew what they were supposed to fit and modify them to fit our plows.
