I finally got to see what was listed as to what my Planet Jr seeder would plant. It wont plant sweet or field corn, but will plant cotton. This is a 300-A walk behind garden seeder. Supprised me. Irts been suggested that I measure the dia of the plate on a Cole seeder and transplant that to my Planet aJr Seeder plates, BUT I have to assume, that IF that were possible, that Planet Jr surely would have included corn in the same dia holes on their plates as the holes on Cole planter plates. as corn is one of the most planted of seeds in any one garden.
I have to assume that, even tho Planet JR KNEW that some of their plates would work for planting seed, there was ANOTHER reason that they DIDNT list corn as being to be able to be planted by their seeder.
Whats your thoughts.
