Cargill Flair Box

Was curious if anyone has heard of a Cargill Flair box? There is one at an upcoming auction here in Minnesota; at least that is what they call it. It is an all-metal construction; color indefinite because it's rusty. I've seen a lot of flair boxes around here, but never one of that make.

Easy to find - go to google, type in Jerome Anderson Trust & Estate Auction, click on the proxibid.com heading and scroll down to Lot #505, Cargill Flair Box on electric gear. Photo.

I have seen the photo of it on the auction site. But was wondering if anyone knew when the company made these boxes, and where, etc.

Sorry, Bluehorse, I wasn't trying to answer your question as I don't have the knowledge. I was only trying to help out Carlyle Hoffman who asked for a photo. I used Google to find an auction in Minnesota that was selling a Cargill flair box and found the Jerome Anderson auction with the photo.

I understand, no problem:). Just in case I buy the flair box today, I was curious as to what color they used to paint these. I haven't seen it in person, so maybe I can tell by looking at it. I don't if the company (Cargill apparently) was associated with the grain and formerly seed company or not. Tried doing a computer search with no results.

Sold cheap enough.

Folks didnt quite understand, its easier to get replies if you supply the pic for everyone to see.....
