I need a power shaft for a John Deere 205 Gyramor

I just purchased a pull type 205 Gyramor to cut weeds and light brush with. The 2 halves of the shaft are stuck together and no amount of pounding or brute force that I can muster has been able to separate them. I think it might be slightly twisted or bent. The guard that is on it is slightly crimped. So what I am looking for is a complete shaft with PTO guards. I really don't want to order it the Johnny Cash way, "one piece at a time".
I have been doing some searching but have not found one yet. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried chaining one end to a tree or big post and pulling on the other end ?? I think as old as that cutter is you'll have to order pieces. There's a couple of ways either replacing yoke with shaft or just replaced the short female piece.. If it were my shaft I'd remove(cut off) safety shield and apply intense heat while pulling. Listed below is the female 1/2 yoke & shaft.
AW13010 Yoke With Tube - Yoke With Tube ADD 132.61 USD
yoke with male sq shaft
AW20314 Yoke With Shaft - Yoke With Shaft ADD 138.94 USD
You could repair the female shaft something similar to parts in photo.

Soak that thing down with diesel fuel, hook one end
to a tree and the other to a come a long and
tractor, and soak it down some more with fuel. Wait
overnight, soak it some more and use a BFH to tap on
it. It will come apart. Time- patience-
perserverance....
