Kubota RS1351 shear pins?

Hi,

recently bought a MF35 with a 5 foot kubota tiller - RS1351. Works nicely except today I uncovered an old T post and pop! PTO spinning but tines are not.

I assume I sheared a shear pin somewhere. I do not have and cannot locate a manual. Apparently its a grey market tiller. I can start taking it apart, but thought I'd ask first if anyone here has one and knows where to look first.

thanks in advance.

Bill

William, it's always a good idea when you have a new piece of equipment that has a pto drive. To determine the location of the shear pins or slip clutch and insure they have the proper hardness pin or that the slip clutch is not frozen with rust.

Time spent doing this can save you much trouble if you hit something like a "steel post".

Hope you find the location of the shear pin and that is all that is broken.

Tillers are great machines,
