mccormick 70 plow?

Hello I am removing the rear bottom from a 5 bottom to reduce it to a 4 bottom. Need help from someone who could measure the length of the tailwheel lift rod/linkage for a 4 bottom? Mine looks to be farmer built and not sure if it the correct length for a five bottom as the plow is not sitting level. Thanks, Mike

It wont set level till it gets to position in the furrow.

Ok good to know. I had not gotten far enough along with my project to trip the plow and set the land wheel on blocks to set everything up. I will do that this evening and see if the home made linkage is close to being correct. Thanks, Mike
