Where to buy replacement wagon tongue

I went to my local steel supplier, picked out a heavy square tube about the size on the tongue, had them cut the length. Drilled holes and welded the hitch end on with appropriate hole drilled for the draw pin..about as cheap as it could be.

If the tongue is in rough shape I would check over the rest of the steering on the running gear pretty closely before spending money on any repairs. Those parts may be bent/sprung too, the running gear might never trail well again. Was the wagon in a wreck, did someone turned too short and hook the tongue with a rear tractor tire, or did someone just drive over the tongue with something heavy?

Lighter used running gears are often not expensive, especially if you can reuse your wheels and tires on a gear with bad tires.

Thanks for all replies. It is a Killbros.
Ironically the exact one I need is on ebay for
$275 plus shipping. Too steep for me, as
another has mentioned I could obtain locally
used running gear with good tongue for that
close to that price. Bottom line for me, I
borrowed this from neighbor bent tongue and
since it is not mine, would like to make best
fix. I dropped it off at local welding shop
this morning for them to straighten and
reinforce, no price yet, but should be less
than the ebay item. I hate to return with
welds, but will work that out.

At least you are returning it repaired. We stopped loaning anything out years ago because stuff would come back broke and they never offered to repair it.
