Chain for corn sheller

I've got a JD model 1B corn sheller that is missing its chain. Where can I buy a replacement chain?

Ray, the parts catalog shows a rubber BELT used to drive the cleaning fan, that goes on some sheaves the look in the parts drawing like sprockets. Belt part #L979C comes up as NLA at DEERE, but an internet search turned up one or two for sale.

I'm NOT sure what else could be used.

I have a New Idea 1 hole sheller that has been going for years with an o-ring from a 5-gallon plastic oil pail lid serving as the belt. Might work on the Deere, too.

I bought a 1b a few years ago that someone had made a belt from a bungee cord.
