Will this fit my 9N?

This loader is $400 with new seals and hoses, but will it fit my 9N?

It's a good price, but its probably too big and heavy. Would be hard on the front axle on your N, and hard on your arms, as you don't have power steering. And you would have to make adapters, and would need a front pump, too. Look for an old Dearborn loader, with front pump- they're much lighter, and your tractor will still be "steer-able".

NO loader is "Good" for a 9N..the Steering box will not last long..
Ever drive one with a shot steering box..?
You will NOT like it much (at all)..

Never herd of that and don't tell my tractor that as it had a loader on for several years loading heavy manure with NO steering box problems. And never a front pump either, you get used to the operation of the built in system and non't miss the live hydrolics of a front pump. Turn a little hard ubder a heavy load but not bad.

Treat it kindly, the repairs are expensive..

When it goes bad, it will steer like cement has been poured in the steering box, even with NO loader on the tractor )like the Kingpins are seized).

In the past 70 years it has just needed the bushings out the side replaced once and the thrust bearings in spindals replaced once. Might need those thrust bearings replaced again but the loader came off in 78 when got a jub. Did a lot of loader work then and that was when we had the cows.

I would say you are to be commended for your care and feeding of your Ford..!!
Never had any real problems with our equipment except for it wearing down to a Nubbin..!!
Timely maintenance does have it's rewards..
