The spokes on the gauge wheel all broke. Is there some way of putting a regular hub and wheel on it?
 

I have made several from parts..

Look it over and decide if you need to cut the old hub off.
Do it with the plan to weld another Hub in it's place.
Figure to have the new gauge wheel at the same height as the original (as close as you can).
There should have been some adjustment up or down that you had before the change.
You could probably use a complete REAR Hub off a newer front wheel drive..
They would be dirt cheap at a scrap yard..
