I would appreciate some information on the set up of a 4 foot john deere bushhog and a 5 foot king cutter bushhog.
I set up these bushhogs with the front end of the bushhog lower that the back end of the bushhog. About 2 inches lower at the front. A friend of mine sets his 4 foot kubota bushhog level. It is my opinion that there is less strain on the tractor by having the front end of the bushhog lower that the back. My tractors are a J.D. 850 and a ford 2N and 8N. I use the the 5 foot mower on the fords and the 4 foot mower on the john deere. What is the recommemded way to set up a bushhog for cutting behind a rarm tractor
