I've got a plow with wheels like that. Looks like
they are cut-offs, in other words someone cut the
steel wheel off and welded the rim on the spokes to
add rubber tires. If your spokes are good you can
cut the rusted rim off and weld a good blank on.

don't have any rims I am looking for s set like them to make it look original so if nobody had some to sell or k iwd where I could get a set would be appreciated

I don't think those are cut offs. Case put spoke
rims on a lot of the eary 40's plows.

That plow in the photo sure is pricey. Is it a
three bottom?

I have a case plow at the other place that has rims
like that, I think. Not sure. Don't know if they're
any good. If you want me to look, it will be this
weekend at the earliest before I can go look. E
mail is open.

Heab, yes your e mail address will be helpful. Like
I stated, I hope to get to where the plow is this
weekend, but plans may get changed. Also I am in
the ST. Louis area.

I bought a rim at a scrap yard the correct size, ground the rivets off the stamped center and removed it from the rim. I then measured the inside of the rim and set a steel bar over the spokes after removing the old rusted rim at half that distance from the center. I ground the spokes to just rub the steel bar. A couple had to have a dab of weld to make them long enough. When the spokes was kinda tight on the rim. I then reclamped the bar as in the picture to have the spokes in the center and to remove the wobble before starting to weld and to check rim before welding another spoke. The scrap yard wheel came from an old JD combine.

The rims with spokes for rubber tires are Part No. 479 for furrow wheel with 5:00 x 16" tire used 37 to 39. For land wheel the number is 486 for 5:00 x 21" tire and same years. The disk wheels for 39 to 42 were for 6:00 x 16" tire on both sides as neere as I can tell from parts book. Then 41 up was wheel part no. 02374N for 5:50 or 6:00 x 16" tire on both sides and then Wheel part no. 625W for both sides for 7:50 x 16" tire used 47 up. I have wheels BA-280 furrow steel and power 511W steel. And power wheel is 4-5" bigger than furrow wheel.
