my 469 haybine has sheared off the roller clutch pins. pto shaft turns gear box turns and wobble box moves and cutter bar goes back and forth but the rollers and reel not moving.the clutch pins are broke off and I'm going to take the main gear box off and try to replace clutch pins and springs. any and all help would be great. All I have is a operators manual and parts diagram from new holland. Thanks for the help Joe

I replaced the pins in a 461. There were only 2ea and the pins set in a recess that had got rounded off, so I had the recess edges machined square again. The pins were rounded off too. I would guess you need to replace the pins and make sure all wear surfaces are squared up. There are also small springs under the pins that may have broke.

do you just unbolt the plate that holds the gearbox on and it comes off or is there something else holding it on. I m looking for a manual but all I have is a operators manual any help would be great
Thanks Joe C

I pulled my 469 gear box off because the shaft was broke at the key way. It was a while back. If you look up Ag Industrial on the web, you can find exploded drawings of the NH parts. Should help you figure out how to do it. Look under the header assembly.
