JD No 5 mower trnasmission disassembly

How does the drive transmission on this mower come apart? I need to replace the seals on both the input and output shafts, but can't figure out how to disassemble the lower output shaft. What holds the driven sprocket on the shaft? Press fit? threaded? Any help appreciated!

Take a look at the diagram below.

Both the crankshaft (Key 25B) and the crankshaft driven sprocket (Key 27) appear to be threaded.

You are correct, the sprocket and lower shaft are threaded. It came apart with a good hard blow with a big hammer, using a stout steel rod to strike the base of a tooth.
