It is kinda trashed, ain't it? Using something like a 4x4 as a foot on the tin at the kink, and another 4x4 a few feet long, run a puller from one end to the other, and over the 4x4 you are using as a stiff leg. The longer you can make the stiff leg, the better you are. As the tin straightens, tap it out with a flat hammer as much as possible. Don't over pull it. You probably will not get it straight, but not too far from it....

Take a torch and cut every bend. Weather it is bent in or out cut the crease. You can then straighten it by hand. Then tack some angle iron on the four corners and patch the torch cuts shut.

I would take the two halves apart (they are riveted?). Then lay each half on the cement shop floor and put a piece of 4x4 post in it. Start tapping and straighten it as best you can. The nice thing is that it is an elevator and not an auger. We had to straighten the combine auger once - that was a fun never ending chore.

It can be straightened but will likely not be perfect. Remember the center section inside is also most likely bent if it is made of metal. I do not know about the model B the center piece could be a board. I had the local fab shop bend me all new parts for a model D shelled corn elevator and then assembled the pieces and moved the upper head and lower boots from the old one to the new one. I think I had around $150.00 in the metal and bending plus my time in reassembly.

Some thots....I would not torch it apart....the sheet metal will buckle! Totally disassemble, PRESS it smooth as much as possible, finish with light hammering with backup support flats/angles.

Thanks for the responses.
I do know of where there is another B2. That could be for parts. That was my first thought. The elevators on the B series are larger than those on the E, 1200's, and 1210's. The B2 was a larger sheller. It appears this will be a winter project.

Had not heard of a B2. Around here the D was the standard.... With a very few of the E and 1200/ 1210 to be found.

So, what does the roof or tree look like, looks like it got run into a door top maybe?

I got a donor sheller for my D, was $75 from someone's grove, sits in my grove now, but at least I got parts.

Taking the rivets out and beating back around a stout long 6x6 or laminate some 2x12 for a beam to work on. You might be a good body work mn by the time you are done.

Seperate the two halves and if you have a good, level, concrete floor and a 2 pound hammer it won't take long to have it where you can't tell it ever happened.
