Sprayer Update from last week

Found a 50 gallon 3 point in pieces for 100$. Good - Pump was stored in oil and is in good shape, has nozzles and wand, 3 section valve, agitation nozzle, pressure gauge and adjust knob can go right behind the cab.

Bad:
hoses are all rotten, boom missing, tank probably wouldn't survive any rough housing as its just staring to show sun damage on the top, nozzles are old school and would likely drip, not a problem for triclopyr but round up might show where I have to travel through other fields to get to where I'm working.

Picking up another cheap sprayer with a good boom and newer nozzles but only electric pump - merge the two into one.

Nozzle drip is controled by the screens installed in nozzle outlet, buy acording to pressure needed. Hoses if 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" just go to your auto supply place and buy automotive heater hose. That is what the John Deere dealer told me to do years ago, said it is same hose as they would sell if they carried it and at one fourth the price. And standard hose fittings for that size sprayer are standard garden hose fittings with standard 3/4" pipe thread other places. For those just go to your local home supply store.

Working now to find out about the 6 tips that were on it. Not quick change, old school brass. May just replace all so I know what I have.
