care of disk blades

I have couple of disk blades on an AC wing fold disk that have small splits or bends where they have hit rocks or other objects. If the blade is still thick, is there a way to straighten out a curled edge without heating and losing the temper? What about a split on the outside edge? I have a lot of trash in some new fields and I don''t want to replace blades until after I locate and remove all of the stuff that has been causing the problem.

Just run it.Here in rocky country, nearly every disk has bent, chipped;cracked;broken blades.Dosnt seem to affect it much at all.

You take something tempered like a disc blade and bend it, it work hardens. Trying to bend it back just males it worse IME. Run it and when you are done discing you can replace them.

You'll never replace those disk blades. The rocks causing the problem will show up year after year.
