Five years ago we bought a farm and this old mill was laying in the middle of the manure yard on its side and beat up. I wanted to send it to the scrap but my wife would not let me "thank goodness i listened to her"!! I have found I have a use for it now but it needs to have the main bearings repaired. the bearing on the thrusts side looks to be a hot lead poured bearing I will re[place it with a bronze bushing. My question is the bearing on the drive pulley side I have not yet got the pulley off as its rusted in place so i can't get a good look at it but I can't see any grease fitting on it so i wonder if any one knows what type of bearing was used
