Fahr 500 tedder yoke assembly

We have a 500 tedder, we are eating away at the yoke (Clutch) ball races and the pins and rollers.
Clutch # 1 504 010 114.00
Rollers # 1 504 050 105.00.
Also our outter tedder arms seem to trail slightly when locked in and running. Is this normal?

The pivot ball wears or the hole the pivot ball mounts in eggs outs, lets the arms trail, and lets the couplers only engage on the tips. This wears the pins / bushings and the couplers badly. Worse, once they wear the tedder jumps times and breaks things.

Parts are insane for these tedders. I have 2 of them sitting in my junk pile now for the same reason. Have wasted close to 1500$ in parts on the pair. KHD 500 and a KHD 400. The newer ones added a latch in front to take the load off the pivot ball.

I have one, and you're right - parts are crazy - it does a nice job of tedding, but I wouldn't buy another. Your pivot ball and latch pin are what locates the arm, so it seems one of them must be worn.
Luckily, our local Agco dealer has a good parts man, and he can get a lot of the parts aftermarket, at about half what factory ones are.
