Once again, probably a simple question from a non-
farmer. I have an older cultivator which is
activated by a hydraulic cylinder to raise or
lower the wheels (and shovels). The cylinder I am
going to install is essentially dry (no fluid
inside) and so are the hoses. Once I get it onto
the cultivator, is there anything I have to do to
this cylinder & hoses before hooking it up to my
rear tractor hydraulic couplers? I"m wondering
about air locks or how the fluid will move in our
out of the cylinder.
