Local guy, apparently was working on a large finish mower,what ever it was setting on failed and fell on him. 62 and suffocated from a mower setting on his chest.
Take the extra 3 min. and block it right.

That's a sad deal. Same thing happened to a local fellow here, about the same age too. Working on a 3pt rotary mower when the 3pt failed and the mower came down slowly without his realizing until it was too late to crawl out. Slowly suffocated.

Don't know what anybody else does but I treat equipment as if it were a truck. Jacks, jack stands, blocking, cribbing, etc. whatever it takes to keep it up.
