John deere number 15 subsoiler clutch disassembly.

I bought a john deere number 15 trip sub soiler at an auction over the weekend and I know it is after 1942 since it has an enclosed clutch assembly. It has been modified and beefed up, but the trip clutch doesn't work (it clicks in reverse, but does not rotate in forward).

The clutch looks like it is the same as a trip plow, so I was wondering if you could help me with some information on disassembly? I took the end cover, dust seal, retaining pin, and collar off/out. I have managed to free the 3 carriage bolts that should retain the wheel and they move in and out and turn, but the wheel will not come off. I know that there are some keys and I think the shaft might be tapered, but cannot free the wheel. A puller doesn't seem to be doing the trick even after greasing and lubricating/penetrating fluid.

How does a normal john deere trip plow clutch come apart? Any tips, tricks, or procedure?
Thanks for any help in advance.

If it is like a PLOW , it is on a 3 finger taper, it will be tight but will come off with a hard wood DRIFT and a MALL. Rotate occasionally, it will BREAK.

Thanks for the help, it just seems to be stubborn and do not want to ruin the shaft or anything. Hoping to find out why it doesn't turn to go forward, ratchets in reverse, and doesn't trip down.
Do I have my puller correct? Don't want to push on the shaft (it goes partially out the back then). Pulling right now with the steel piece on the collar or washer, bolts are loose and has moved out some (there is room between the sand collar and clutch assembly, but lots of little rust particles around the 3 keys .
