ford 600 or jubilee

tractor has characteristics of both and is so worn the numbers are ruined the coil battery and distributer are on the right side the hood of the tractor opens like like a door to put the gas in the starter is by the gear shifter the left side has the manifold horizontal muffler generator and starter help would be much appreciated

Sounds like maybe 600 series not knowing if tin or what has been swapped. Another way of maybe telling is the rear axles on Jubilee's are similiar to 8N's with a large nut on the hub where 600's up have a smooth hub and only the 8 lugnuts. Also engine/tranny casting numbers can help. Basically the same engine otherwise, but 600's had more transmission options, 4 speed most common, 5 speed with tranny pto, and 5 speed with live pto- 2 stage clutch.

Where are you looking for th3 numbers?? The numbers you want sit just below the battery and sort of behind the starter. There are 2 bolt holes there and a flat spot above those holes and that is where the model and serial numbers are

618:1 is what i found it was above the belly pan kinda i got a wiring kit to convert it to 12 volt would i need to get a different coil

The 5 may in fact be a 6 if it has a 4 speed transmission the it is likely to be a 640 as for model

naa and X00 only look alike at about 20' once you get close you can pick them out.

naa have rear axle hub nuts. 55+ models have dished or slotted hubs with no visible nut.

naa trans bellhousing has angled boss for sn.. 55+ have flatts with big threaded holes on the vertical of the flat facing out ( for brackets )

looking at the hydro pump, the NAA has tubes that run under the tractor all the way back to the center section, the 55+ have a small manifold connection to the front of the trans.

hyd top cover on the naa has a near trapezoid shaped option cover ont he rigth front under the seat with what looks like molded in 'tubes'.. the 55+ hyd option cover is more like 3x5" rectangular. both have a plug on the top of the cover..

post a pic if in question.. don't go by the tin. for all intents and purposes.. you can make 53-64 tin swap with a lil work... that includes swapping nose emblems from 53-62.

biggest clue are then rear axle hubs

Naa were made from late 52 thru mid 54 and have a rear axle nut, not a dished hub, do no matter how many times he asks ir re phrases the question, the facts say no.
