I believe I have a bad transfer gear or chain or shear pin in the feeder clutch to feeder cross shaft.
My only way of determining that is to pull the sealed cover.
Can any old timer tell me what I may find in there?
The feeder clutch snaps into position, indicating correct tension, but when I rotate the "Chopper- blower, Their is no turning of the cross shaft, that operates all the feeder.
Our fall show for Historic Charlton Park is Sept 27 28 and I need it operational by then.
This machine is in excellent condition, no rust out, painted, greased, and free, not even a mouse nest. The curator has picture off the web of this implement
