NH Baler Gearbox Oil???

Reading over the manual for my NH68 and it calls for 90wt
hypoid gear oil.

I know hypoid is more of a term, vs a spec. I can easily find
80w-90 gear oil, but no mention of hypoid - but it is GL-5.

What spec oil are you using in your NH baler?

80W-90 GL-5 is perfectly fine.

My self I run the newer 80W-140 oil that way it covers more of the extreme temps and operations

Thanks for the replies - before I run this NH68, I'm going to drain and replace the gear oil in it. Good info!
