IH 350 Transport Disk

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the front gang outside nut that puts the first disk on is right or left hand thread? I broke a crescent wrench trying to take it off thinking it was regular thread. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just put new blades on mine and it was regular threads. I put a socket on it and breaker bar and cheater pipe and stood on it and they came loose, but I weigh a lot.

Its a normal thread. Mine took a 6 ft. pipe over the breaker bar and allot of pushing.
When I reassembled it I just tightened it with an electric impact driver. That wasn't good enough. I lost the nut and spacer after a couple acres before I got a chance to retighten it and check it.

never heard of any left handed threads on any disk. but they do need to be TIGHT, think 600+ ft-lbs
