Looking at some pics of a New Holland 69 (or might have been a Super 69), looks a lot, if not identical to my NH68.
Question is - what is different about the NH68 vs the 69, S69?
I'm thinking they only made a S69 - not a 69 and not real sure what the difference is between the 68 and S68 - other than some S68's had roller bearings on the plunger vs wooden slides, but not all. Also there was some kind of rope deal on the supers, not sure what that was for - maybe lifting the pick-up?
Would the S69 (or even the S68) have had a higher capacity than the S68 or maybe a different bale size?
Parts interchange?
Just curious.
Thanks!
Bill
