Tire Inflation

Last week a neighbor that I went to high school with (many years ago) was killed while airing up a tractor tire. It was a late model front wheel assist so the tire and rim were neither one rotten. He apparently attached a clamp on air chuck and left it. When he came back to remove the chuck the tire blew up with enough force to severe his arm and a head injury that apparently killed him instantly. The investigators estimated at least 100 PSI. To make it worse he was a bachelor and wasn't found for a couple of days. We all need to remember the potential dangers in what we do.
