Hi, Could anyone tell me please what the framework on the back of this disc harrow is for? I have never seen anything like it in The UK.

Looks like it's for pulling a drag or harrow behind the disc. Release and let the evener down and attach sections of harrow. You can see the attachment points on the pipe. My guess anyhow.
