Ford 532 baler PTO

Hey guys, new to the forum. I have a Ford 532 baler that worked great until the PTO somehow got twisted a little and then pulled right out of the front of the housing. Anybody know where I can get parts for the thing. The only thing damaged when it came apart was the inner bearing that has the gear center so I need one of those. They are $700 from the dealer. Really looking to find a used entire shaft with the bearings if possible. Any help would be great.

The ORC's for those things are as you know quite expensive. The last time mine blew up I cut two half moons from 1/4 plate and used them to weld the yolk directly to the ORC outer housing in such a manner that the slip clutch plates can still slide over the hub. Once you do that you will have fixed that problem. Just make sure to do some modest preheating on the hub and yolk and weld it with a Sodel 35 or similar type of nickel rod. Then... if you wish you could replace the 6 spline tractor yolk with an ORC type of splined adapter. I didn't even bother to do that. The ORC is not that deathly important as long as you idle the baler down before you stop the PTO. If the tractor doesn't have a PTO brake then it doesn't matter at all.
Or you can pay the 700 bucks for the ORC kit. I don't know of any aftermarket and used is pretty scarce because that's one of the more frequently repaired parts on a 532..

You can buy an over riding clutch at tractor supply or online with agrisupply.com for less than 40 bucks, your slip clutch should spline to it and if you cut a donut out of plate, weld it to the over riding clutch body and drill holes in the donut to match the original three keeper plates you will have essentially what you started with.
