A neighbor has one sitting in the weeds, basically brand new, it has never spread a load of manure since it was brand new.No dents no wear, paint still on the beaters but paint on the box largely gone tires are like new, wood floor needs replacing though it is rotted out in places and it needs a paint job, other than that...in new unused condition.
Is it worth anything?
Guy wants $100.

what say you?

Apron chain type spreaders are becoming a scarce commodity around here. They are bringing $100-$300 in this area as wood haulers and utility wagons in about any condition so long as the wheels turn.

(quoted from post at 00:11:04 07/27/14) I am curious to know why it never got used in the first place.
pparently the orig owner died shortly after purchase, son inherited it but had no use for it.Son later quit farming 10 or so years ago and it sold on auction.
Current owner bought it on impulse as so often happens(looked like a good idea at the time) thinking he was gonna use it but it never happened.
