Looking at this baler, and would like some opinions on it. I broke the needles on my 14T and the green parts are to expensive to replace on this old baler. Any and all opinion would be appreciated. Thanks

They were painfully slow is all I can say. Very little capacity. Dad had one and cracked the main gear box wide open.

We had one for years and I cannot say it was slow, could put out bales faster than one person on wagon could handle them. Should be about same capacity as the 14T. And otherwise worked very well. Ours had the engine. Max output for one day hit a thousand bales one time. Put over 5,000 bale thru it every year. Sometimes close to 10,000. Only reason it left was after 3 of us got overcome with heat in one year bought a IHC with a thrower to eliminate that getting overheated on the wagon. If I was still farming that would still be my baler of choise. How bad did you break up those needles as that is a common thing to have them welded so if you still have all the parts do that.

I have also seen some 14T's for parts on Craigslist, might get some pretty cheap, and not have to work out bugs on a different(ooooold) baler.

There is a used set of 14t needles on Craigslist under St. Cloud MN.. Just type in needles in the search box. I think he wanted 75 bucks for them.

I am located in Luxemburg,Wi 54217. I did not mention that I also need the carriage that the needles are mounted on, that is also bent. I appreciate your response. I f you had that also I could be in business.

If you like the baler then find the parts and fix it up even if you have to buy some parts new.

Do you have an idea what shipping would be plus the carriage? I can t hardly estimate this on my end. Thank you

I'm in NE Kansas and I checked - I have a pair that don't appear to be bent and have not been welded. Let me know if you are interested.

Dan, I would be interested in the needles. But I need a price, and all the shipping trouble would be on your end If this works for you I would be willing. 920-845-5090 Please call
